What is required to become a Branch Manager?

Perhaps what makes this opportunity so attractive to individuals is the relative ease of opening a Branch with ProTrade.  Not much is needed to kick start this unique opportunity.  All it takes is a relatively small amount of capital, a network of traders (or the desire to grow one), and most of all, integrity and the willingness to succeed.

How much experience does a Branch Manager need?

The level of experience which a Branch Manager needs varies.  It depends on the targeted size of your Branch, the level of experience among your traders and, ultimately, is contingent upon the performance goals of your Branch.  ProTrade is happy to educate those willing to help grow our company to enhance the experience for all involved, and to make it possible for you to realize the full potential of attracting and managing ProTraders.  Of course, no level of knowledge and experience is too much -- however, at a minimum, we feel it is important for one to possess:

• A fundamental knowledge of the marketplace, including but not limited to, a firm grasp of the nuances of Electronic Trading, Order Types, Adding vs. Taking Liquidity, Anti-Money Laundering Procedures & Insider Trading Red Flags, etc.
• The ability to manage others and adopt a role of leadership to help traders within your Branch to realize the highest levels of profitability.
• An honest work ethic and the intent to succeed and grow your Branch to its full potential.

Can a branch have more than one Manager?

It is absolutely possible to start a ProTrade Branch as a joint venture.  We are happy to work with you on a specific structure which you have in mind for your Branch to ensure that the model of sustainability works for you.

Do I have to run my Branch out of an office?

It is not required that every ProTrade Branch be run out of an office.  Of course, it is beneficial to have a trading floor to attract individuals to trade from; however, it is by no means required.  ProTrade currently has various Branches being run from an office or remotely.  A Remote Office is an excellent solution for those who want to bring a network of traders into ProTrade without committing the necessary overhead and still get compensated for their Branches activity.
